Mozambique’s president, Filipe Nyusi, asked on Thursday the new justice minister to concentrate “particularly” on promoting the defence of human rights and access to justice for the poor.
Filipe Nyusi stressed the need to respect fundamental rights when he was speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of Joaquim Veríssimo, who was appointed on Tuesday.
