South Africa: Interpol joins SAPS probe into Mozambican link in Boshoga kidnapping, 10 months ago
The Police of the Republic of Mozambique arrested on Wednesday morning a group of armed robbers that were holding hostage clients and managers of the Recheio Supermarket in the city of Pemba, province of Cabo Delgado.
According to Folha de Maputo, the robbers entered the Recheio Supermarket and police promptly surrounded the place and the criminals surrendered to the authorities, without any shooting contrary to what was reported on social media.
During interrogation the robbers admitted to the police that were looking to “steal clients’ wallets”
