In File Cub of Mozambique / Daviz Simango
Daviz Simango, president of the opposition Democratic Movement of Mozambique political party has bitterly criticized the Maputo executive, accusing the government of “spending too much money on military equipment, instead of prioritizing the health and education sectors”, according to the RFi website.
“With Mozambique plunged into political and military crisis due to the violent armed clashes between government forces and Renamo guerrillas, the government seems to have forgotten the disadvantaged sectors of our society, in particular health and education”, Daviz Simango said at the start of a meeting in Quelimane with the leaders of the four municipalities ruled by Mozambique’s third-largest political force.
