India’s river divers risk health in search for hidden treasures

Some 15 thousand delegates from more than 100 countries will converge in St. Petersburg, Russia, to participate in the 24 to 26 May in the XXII International Economic Forum, SPIEF 2018, unveiled its organizers.
Under the theme Creating an economy of trust, SPIEF 2018 will demonstrate Russia’s readiness to hold a dialog with the international community on key issues on the global agenda with respect to the economics and finance, said the vice president of the Organising Committee, Anton Kobyakov.
The adviser of President Vladimir Putin added that the event will bring together heads of state and government, public figures, leaders of major companies and international organisations, as well as leading experts and analysts.
The governor of St Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko, stated that the code, the second of importance of Russia, is ready to host the thousands of participants, including expected at the French president, Emmanuel Macron; the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and the head of the IMF, Christine Lagarde.
China will participate with a high-level delegation in the important appointment. From Latin America, Cuba confirmed the attendance of a representation, headed by vice president of the Council of Ministers and the holder of the Economy and Planning, Ricardo Cabrisas.
In addition, attended by executives of companies from more than 70 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, India, Italy, China and Finland, said Poltavchenko. The Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, recognised that the SPIEF 2018 will take place in the middle of a difficult international rarefied atmosphere in particular by the hardening of Washington’s sanctions against Russia; however, he said, there is great interest in the forum in St. Petersburg.
“There is nothing surprising, the business community are tired of the confrontation and sanctions”, he stressed.
These meetings are held inside and outside of Russia since 2006 under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation to discuss and find solutions to economic and financial problems.
The organizers also aim to facilitate the development of the economic potential of Russia and the strengthening of its global positioning and the image of the country. Also, continue to create conditions for the development and help an effective communication between the business community and political structures.
During the Forum of 2017 were sealed 475 investment agreements, memoranda of understanding and declarations of intent.
