Mozambique: Overtime for teachers will be paid gradually

Work on the road linking Caniçado to Chicualaculaa in Gaza province, which started in 2010 but was interrupted a year later for lack of money, will resume the between 10 and 15 September this year.
Although construction of the road is stalled, people and goods continue to move along it, it remaining the most important road in northern Gaza province, and providing a link with neighbouring Zimbabwe.
And it was with this in mind that the people of Gaza province asked the Minister of Public Works to facilitate local development by completing the job.
At the moment, the hiring of the company to execute the works is being concluded.
In addition to the completion of the Caniçado-Chicualacuala road, Minister Machatine revealed that the Macie-Chókwè section would also be rehabilitated.
Machatine did not specify how much the road works in question were to cost, but has assured listeners that the funding is already available.
