Tremendous potential in agricultural production is something that Congo and Mozambique have in common. Industrial development of arable land, which is in abundance in both countries, is one of the national priorities in Mozambique.
The Ambassador of Republic of the Congo to Mozambique, Constant-Serge Bounda, who visited MozParks and the enterprises located in Beluluane Industrial Park this morning, takes great interest in Special Economic Zones and Industrial Parks in the countries around African continent. In his speech the ambassador mentioned the Congolese experience in creating such industrial zones, including the Agro-Industrial Park in Bukanga Zongo.
The General Director of MozParks, Onório Manuel, has invited Congolese entrepreneurs and investors to visit Mozambique and take advantage of the Industrial Agro Parks and Special Economic Zones as fertile ground for doing business in Mozambique. He added that MozParks offers to investors complete solutions combined with an unique range of infrastructure, government tax incentives and many other advantages for companies operating in the Parks.
MozParks General Director reiterated the interest in mutual cooperation with Congolese business people, in order to enable growth opportunities for both countries.
Outotec, Tyre Corporation, and Capital Star Steel, the companies for whom Beluluane is home to their industrial production, introduced Mr Bounda to their models of successful business operations at Beluluane Industrial Park.
