Mozambique: STAE denies fake voting material being smuggled in - AIM report

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has invited all Mozambicans to witness the signing today in Maputo of the Peace and Reconciliation Agreement, “so as to witness together this remarkable moment in the history of our democracy [and] in search of the effective and lasting peace that we all long for.”
The invitation is extended on the president’s Facebook page, where the statesman also says that the 6th of August 2019 is destined to enter into the annals of Mozambique’s history.
“The event, schedulled for 4 p.m. today in Maputo’s Peace Square, will be witnessed by the Presidents of the African Union Commission, Heads of State and Government of South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Rwanda and Madagascar, Vice President of Zimbabwe, former President of Tanzania among other dignitaries,” the president’s Facebook page reveals.
