Mozambique: Parliament approves its own 2.6 billion meticais budget for 2024, a 14% cut

Mozambique’s Attorney General’s Office (PGR) is promoting a conference on “The Intervention of the State, Society and Law in the fight against Corruption” as part of the project to support the consolidation of the rule of law in PALOP and Timor-Leste (PACED).
The objective of the conference is to improve the capacity and integrity of political, administrative and judicial institutions in preventing and combating corruption, money laundering and drug trafficking.
The conference will be addressed by speakers from the legal, business and academic areas, including Salimo Abdula, Casimiro Ferreira, José Abudo, Flávio Menete and Severino Ngoenha.
The conference will be held on July 3rd and 4th in the PGR headquarters building in Maputo.
