Toll rates on National Highway Four (EN4) change this Friday.
A statement from Trans African Concessions, the road concessionaire, details price readjustments for Class 1 vehicles (motorcycles and light vehicles), and Class 2 (medium-load freight vehicles with up to two axles).
Class 1 vehicles of class will pay 35 meticais against the previous 30 meticais at the Maputo toll, and in Moamba, the tariff rises from 150 to 190 meticais.
The medium freight vehicles pay 120 meticais in Maputo against the previous 100, while in Moamba they will pay 480 meticais instead of 380.
Class 3 and 4 vehicles continue to pay 350 and 500 meticais respectively at the Maputo toll, and 1,100 and 1,500 meticais at Moamba.
Subsidised tariffs for passenger transport vehicles have not been modified and remain the same as decreed in 201, the statement reads.
