Mozambique: Government highlights economic growth of 5% in 2023

Mozambique’s central bank left its benchmark lending rate unchanged at 10.75 percent on Monday, the monetary policy committee said on its website.
The bank said it was worried about the impact of severe drought, rising inflation and political instability on the country’s growth targets, and had therefore decided to hold rates.
