Mozambique: President to leave for Equatorial Guinea on state visit

President Nyusi this Tuesday (31) appointed Bernardo Tshombe Constantino Lidimba to the post of Director General of the State Intelligence and Security Service (SISE). Still today, Joia Haquirene was appointed to the position of Deputy Director General of SISE
In office since 2017 Júlio dos Santos Jane was this Tuesday dismissed from the post of Director-General of SISE by the Head of State who appointed Bernardo Lidimba to replace him on the post.
Bernardo Lidimba served as Head of State Protocol between 2016 and 2018 and was then appointed High Commissioner to Kenya, a position he held until 2020.
In a separate Presidential Dispatch, the Head of State this Tuesday appointed Joia Haquirene, former SISE National Director for State Security, to the position of Deputy Director General of SISE.
