President of the Republic Filipe Nyusi on Monday appointed three Armed Defence Forces of Mozambique (FADM) officers to positions at the head of the Lieutenant General Armando Emílio Guebuza Higher Institute of Defence Studies (ISEDEF).
They are Freitas Norte, who takes on the role of Commander of the ISEDEF; Moisés Manuel Cau, who becomes Deputy Commander for the academic area, and Patrick Luís Enessi, appointed to the role of Deputy Commander for the administrative area of that institution, a press release from the Presidency of the Republic indicates.
To this end, the President of the Republic promoted Brigadier Lieutenant Freitas Norte to major general; Colonel Moisés Manuel Cau to the rank of brigadier, and Captain of Sea and War Patrick Luis Enessi to the rank of commodore.
In another presidential order, Nyusi dismissed Samuel Luluva as commander of the Higher Institute of Defence Studies; also David Roai Koriasse Munongoro, from the position of deputy commander of the same institution, and Lieutenant Freitas Norte, from the position of deputy commander of the Marechal Samora Machel Military Academy.
Still yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence and Security Forces ordered the passage to the reserve of Brigadier Albino Gabriel Mandlate, a note received by ‘Notícias Online’ reveals.
