The governor of Maputo province, Júlio Parruque, on Friday (15) expressed openness to a possible partnership between the provincial executive and the Matchedje Motors company as a response to the transport challenge facing Maputo province.
During the visit to the company, Governor Parruque said that he hoped to take steps towards a lasting partnership through the alignment for the constitution of a public transport company, as well as the construction of a provincial bus terminal.
Matchedje Motors chairman Hongru Cao said that the company had 131 workers, and its priority was to bring forward in new projects, create new partnerships, open further branches and invest in transforming buses into tourist caravans and classrooms.
