Mozambique Classic Cycle (MCC) consists of a series of erudite music concerts, initiated by the lyrical singers Stella Mendonça and Sónia Mocumbi, in partnership with Banco Société Générale Moçambique. Starting in September 2018, the concept and programming of the seven concerts were carefully designed.
The MCC will present a different theme in each concert with internationally renowned artists, always reserving a surprise, also aiming to share didactic aspects of classical music.
To encourage adherence to the concerts, we launched the annual subscription with a fixed subscription price for all six concerts. You can purchase tickets for each concert or annual subscriptions offering privileges.
The MCC will be presented in various venues throughout the country and also in unfamiliar locations, offering a different experience than usual and will inspire youngsters and students who love classical music.
Grupo Société Générale – a long history of sponsorship in the world of classical music
Société Générale Group’s commitment to international cultural patronage goes back several decades.
Musical Patronage Société Générale supports young artists as well as ensembles and actors from the music world bringing the cultural heritage to life. The association is a partner of more than 19 orchestras and musical groups, which present more than 700 concerts and performances each year in France and worldwide.
Continuation in Mozambique: The long-standing cultural involvement of the Société Générale Group here in Mozambique is a logical step in the continuation of cultural sponsorship in partnership with the Mozambique Classic Cycle. This initiative aims to promote classical music in Mozambique through various concerts with professional musicians in the program, along with timely instruction of young artists adjacent to these events.

Taking advantage of the String Quartet’s presence, a musical morning – an innovative concept of Family Music, will take place on a Sunday morning in the sweet African spring sun, in a family atmosphere around a brunch.
