Mozambique and India strengthen defence cooperation

The Minister of National Defence, Cristóvão Chume, on Wednesday was scheduled to receive in Maputo the Deputy National Security Adviser of the Republic of India, Vikram Misri, Notícias reports.
A note received in the editorial office of ‘Notícias’ indicates that Vikram Misri’s visit to Mozambique takes place within the framework of cooperation in the field of defence between the two countries.
According to the same source, the meeting was due to be attended by members of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Defence and directors of departments of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Defence of Mozambique (FADM).
