Mozambique: Contingency plan for Maputo city budgeted at over a million dollars - AIM

The Government of Mozambique and the European Union (EU) will today commence the 31st session of their Political Dialogue, a meeting aiming to analyse the state of bilateral cooperation, an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation announces.
The two-day meeting, to be held under the motto “Mozambique and the European Union: A Partnership beyond Cooperation”, will take place in Chidenguele, Gaza province, southern Mozambique, according to the note.
“The parties will review the political, economic and social situation of Mozambique and the European Union, aspects of bilateral cooperation and regional and international matters of common interest,” it further details.
The event program includes a Business Forum bringing together entrepreneurs and other interested parties in the province.
The event will be led by Mozambique’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Verónica Macamo, and will be attended by António Sanchez-Benedito Gaspar, representing the EU.
