Minister of Transport and Communications Carlos Mesquita will today preside over the ceremonial reopening Mocímboa da Praia aerodrome to non-scheduled international flights.
The aerodrome’s reopening comes in response to growing demand from the hydrocarbon industry, which needs to deliver personnel and material for Rovuma Basin projects, and the development of international tourism in the north of Cabo Delgado.
The minister will also visit the port of Pemba in the same province, and be brought up to date on the implementation of the main projects in the sector.
