Terrorists expel residents of some villages in Mocímboa da Praia district
Six people accused of human organ trafficking narrowly escaped mob justice on Sunday evening in the Chicumbane administrative post, Limpopo district, Gaza province, when infuriated local fesidents invaded their homes and caused chaos.
The events began in the Bairro 3 and Bairro 6 neighbourhoods at around 7:00 p.m. and continued throughout the night, with the houses and some vehicles belonging to alleged human traffickers destroyed.
The rampaging mob responsible came from the administrative post of Zongoene in Limpopo, where, on January 19, two people died at the hands of an angry mob as infrastructure and vehicles were burned and property destroyed and looted.
The motivation was the same as that supposedly giving rise to the rioting on Sunday. Mozambique Police would not comment on the case to @Verdade, but were called to intervene and dispersed the crowd with tear gas.
