The Ministry of Industry and Commerce will carry out an inspection campaign to regulate the price of staple products in the market, Rádio Moçambique reports.
According to Minister Silvino Moreno, the campaign results from the fact that economic agents are taking advantage of the rise in fuel prices to make products more expensive.
Speaking in Manica province, the minister said that multi-sectoral teams would be created throughout the country with a view to ascertaining the real cause of the price rises, and to enforce the law.
