Micro-importers of basic necessities from South Africa will have new credentials for their activities, as part of the Mozambican government’s aims to avoid a scarcity of basic products as a result of the coronavirus lockdown in South Africa.
Maputo province Director of Industry and Commerce, Ernesto Mafumo, said the government, in partnership with its South African counterparts, was finalising ways of streamlining commercial transactions between the two countries.
