The Conclusão – Estudos e Formação, Lda., a company with 28 years in the market and leader in Portugal in the training offer, preparation of studies and projects and consulting business, in partnership with CNM – Centro de Negócios e Multiserviços lda., promoted the largest Digital Marketing event in Mozambique: Digital Marketing Week in Mozambique, held 18 to 23 of July 2016 in Maputo.
The week had as Official Partners Tropigalia, ISCTEM, Mozaico do Indigo, Tropigalia, ISCTEM, IPEME and the AMCHAM – The American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal and as Media Partner Sapo Mozambique; had the support of organisations such as Toyota, TV Cabo, Compal, Hotel Atlantis, Cais 66, Gulodice, Sol do Indico, InMotion, Standard Bank and AIESEC and the involvement of the City Council of Maputo.
The event consisted in a practical workshops series on Digital Marketing areas, led by Vasco Marques, reference professional throughout the world in the area of Digital Marketing and author of two books with the same theme.
The week began with the opening ceremony taking place in Lusomundo Cinemas in Maputo on 18 July at 15pm, by Horácio Pina Prata, CEO of Conclusão and CNM, by Vasco Rocha on behalf of DDB Mozambique and Ricardo Rendeiro, representing Tropigalia, followed by a free seminar with the theme Digital Marketing, which received about 150 people.
During the days 19-22 July were held the Workshops of Digital Strategy at Companies, Facebook and Social Networks, Google and Business in the Internet and Marketing Digital Advanced, which took place from 10am to 5pm, with coffee break mid-morning and afternoon and still a break for a lunch hour, with the presence of about 50 people per day who could learn to apply the best marketing strategies to increase results of their business.
The Digital Marketing Week ended on July 23, with the presentation of books Digital Marketing 360 and Video Marketing of the author and speaker of workshops, Vasco Marques, held at Editora Minerva at 10.30am.
The theme of the workshops aimed to become an asset to promote the activities of all business sectors, diversify the social networks and promote the business effectively, more awareness and reach in the world’s largest social network, increase conversions and sales, and stand out on Google. It was decided to set up an action group with all entities and companies present for development projects in the future.
Digital Marketing Week in Mozambique proved a great success and received many positive reviews from participants in social networks and having achieved the promise of the Conclusão and CNM CEO’s, Engineer Horacio Pina Prata, that “this was the first edition and will have replicas in the near future, due to the work being developed by the task force.” He also states that “following which we were the first company to develop this theme in Mozambique resulted in interest from local media, and even national interest with live interviews, as the case of Miramar TV Page Program which can assist in http://online.tvm.co.mz/site/ “.
