Manuel Chang’s lawyers have proposed that the former finance minister be allowed to live in Malalane, Mpumalanga Province, about 45 kilometers from the Ressano Garcia border, once probation is approved.
During her explanation on the state of affairs of the case, prosecutor Elivera Drayer explained that the prosecutor’s office went to investigate the residence after receiving the proposed address.
The outgoing agent discovered on the spot that this is a house for rent, whose owner is an entrepreneur in the real estate area.
The Public Ministry (MP) wondered why the proposed address was so close to Mozambique.Source: O País
