Interior Minister of Mozambique Jaime Basílio Monteiro today swore in seven new appointees to positions of leadership and command in the Police of the Republic of Mozambique.
The newly sworn in commanders are: Paulo Chachine, Commander of the Public Order and Security Police; Filipe Dias, Commander of the Border Police; Eusébio Salumbia, Commander of the Coastal, Lacustrine and Fluvial Police; Cornélio Alberto, Commander of the Rapid Intervention Unit; Fabião Pedro, PRM Commander in Maputo City; Sérgio Faustino, Commander of PRM in the province of Tete; and Assane Nito, Director of Public Order and Security in Cabo Delgado.
