Mozambique: Solid base to grow as competitive country - president

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, Georges Chikoti, is expected in Maputo on Sunday for an official visit to Mozambique, according to a statement from the Mozambican Foreign Ministry sent today to Lusa.
The visit, with a schedule that starts on Monday, aims to deepen relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and is the result of an invitation from the head of Mozambique’s diplomacy, Oldemiro Balói, the statement said.
The agenda of Georges Chikoti includes a meeting with Balói and technical teams of the Mozambican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi, was in Luanda in November last year for the celebrations of the 40 years of Angola’s independence.
At the time, Georges Chikoti and Baloi signed an agreement to promote investment between the two countries.
