The number of Rwandan citizens seeking visas to Mozambique in order to carry out various business activities is growing.
This year, the High Commissioner of Mozambique in Rwanda, Amade Miquidade, registered nearly 300 requests from citizens of that country,
Miquiidade thinks that the growth in demand for travel documents is related to the country’s potential. He indicated that Mozambique as numerous opportunities of interest to the Rwandan business community
The High Commissioner in Rwanda says that this search for exploitation areas and/or trade exchanges should be used by Mozambican entrepreneurs to leverage their business.
He observes, however, that the national business community must be aggressive in the market to obtain advantages.

Amade Miquidade was speaking to journalists, on the sidelines of the26thCommonwealth Heads of Government Meeting ( CHOGM 202) held in Kigali on Friday and Saturday, the 24th and 25th .
“Rwanda will not take any of our resources”
Amade Miquidade ruled out any suggestion that Rwanda was interested in taking advantage of the terrorist situation to plunder Mozambique’s resources.
For Miquidade, who has also served as Minister of the Interior, this belief is unfounded.
“Mozambique has had military operations at the invitation of other countries. We weren’t there looking for anything in return other than the security and stability of these countries. Where is the inconvenience in Rwanda, even though it is supporting Mozambique, cementing business contracts with Mozambican business people? And in business, it’s win-win. So I don’t see any reason to panic; Rwanda is not going to take any of our resources,” he said
