India pigeon pea imports from top supplier Mozambique delayed, lifting prices
The provincial director of Industry and Commerce in Manica, Acacio Foya, has appealed to producers not to sell all the produce they harvested last season, because of the drought affecting the region.
Foya says that farmers must conserve part of their production because the drought will undoubtedly lead to poor harvests.
Foya also warned traders not to use the situation to raise the price of products, which may endanger people’s lives.
