The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) is to produce a harmonised document on preventative measures against the new coronavirus in the country’s main industries.
Visiting production units in Maputo province, CTA Chairman Agostinho Vuma said the CTA was finalising a study of different business areas and would outline customs, financial and labour measures to counter the pandemic.
Vuma said that the initiative aimed to minimise the impact of Covid-19 on the private sector.
Vuma was speaking yesterday (Tuesday 17-03) in Manhiça district, Maputo province, after visiting the Xinavane sugar mill, where he was monitoring the creation of conditions to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
