Northern Development Corridor (CDN) on June 14 accomplished two years without a single occupational accident at the company, a “little-known fact” which demonstrates CDN’s “value for life”, one of its core values.
This milestone justifies the investments that the company has made in the health and safety at work translated into the improvement of infrastructure and workplaces, training and hiring qualified health and safety professionals for the purpose of guaranteeing and maintains the physical and psychological health of workers and combating risks and accidents at work.
“We are a company that values health and safety at work very much, and we believe that investing in it promotes the physical, mental and social well-being of our workers. We always rejoice when our employees go home after a hard day’s work and return again the next day,” Health and Safety and Environment Manager at CDN Jacinta Saica said.
For CDN, completing 730 days without work-related accidents, rather than simply complying with the health and safety standards established by the Ministry of Labour, also means the commitment and concern of the company with the health of their workers.
