Cable theft leaves Maputo-Katembe bridge in the dark

Vandals stealing electrical cables have left the Maputo-Katembe bridge in the dark.
Mozambique Electricity has identified five locations where sections of low and medium- voltage power lines have been stolen.
The saboteurs are suspected of taking the copper for use in domestic metallurgy.
