Maputo Municipal Police have again seized alcoholic beverages being sold in the vicinity of the capital’s educational establishments.
After public awareness campaigns designed to halt the sale of alcoholic beverages in restaurants, tuck shops and stalls near the schools, municipal police this Monday did the rounds to see to what extent the new ruling was being observed.
Police have vowed that a tireless campaign of sensitisation and inspection will continue until the sale of alcoholic beverages in the vicinity of educational establishments comes to an end.
Meanwhile, some residents have shown that they are ready to comply with the measure, even though they are dissatisfied with some municipal police procedures.
