Theatre – Posthumous Memories of Brás Cubas
The play "Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas" is an adaptation of the novel by Machado de Assis, one of the greatest classics in Brazilian literature. It is a confusing and complex narrative and without linearity, but it does not follow any chronological sequence.
Synopsis: After his death in 1869, Brás Cubas decides, after his death, to tell the story of his life through a selection of the most relevant episodes, he begins by his delirium and death, then tells the date of his birth and alternates without any logical criterion, always with a high dose of humor and pessimistic vision. And warns: "Honesty is the first virtue of a deceased!"
