6th Edition of the International Tourism Fair (FIKANI)
Sombras do Trópico (Tropic shadows) by Francisco Sepúlveda
The Chilean artist Francisco Sepúlveda (born 1977) enjoys international recognition. A painter and engraver trained in the fine arts of Santiago, his hometown, he develops a corpus immersing in his Latin American roots. Sepúlveda combines the legacy of ancient civilizations with explosive inventiveness. Symbols and fetishism inhabit their characters with an invocative power that imposes itself in a wonderful simplicity. The iconic images stand out in colored backgrounds.
