About the event
This exhibition is of artistic works produced by students of the Portuguese School of Mozambique - Center for Teaching and Portuguese Language (EPM-CELP).
The Art 21 exhibition is the result of a partnership between the Camões - Portuguese Cultural Center and the Portuguese School and is part of the official program for the celebrations of the Day of Portugal, Camões and Portuguese Communities in Maputo.
The Arte 21 project will thus have its first edition in Mozambique and will have an annual periodicity coinciding with the program of festivities that take place in the month of June as part of the celebrations of the Day of Portugal. This edition dedicates its theme to the "Environment", not only because it has been an area that has been continuously addressed and developed during the last years by the Portuguese School's pedagogical program, but also because it is a general and global concern today and it is important to regularly present evidence to the general public.
Arte 21 integrates countless artistic works that diverge in different means of expression such as drawing, sculpture, painting and installation, and cover the varied age groups of their authors, the students, in individual and sometimes collective compositions.
