Autoridade Tributária, has as its main competences, to:
- Implement tax and customs policy and legislation and all inspections and monitoring;
- Carry out inspection and internal audit;
- Planning strategies in support of tributary policies and international cooperation;
- (iv) Design and select computer solutions of communication infrastructure and information systems; and
- Develop services of administration and finance, logistics and Management of human resources and training common.
