President launches first stone of Chongoene airport, Gaza province

President Nyusi yesterday began a two-day visit to Gaza province, and today will lay the first stone for the construction of Chongoene International Airport.
Also on the agenda, is the inauguration of a building with 25 classrooms, laboratories and offices at the Pedagogical University.
In the district headquarters of Chibuto yesterday, President Nyusi inaugurated the Ivato Disheng Commercial supermarket and hotel.
According to a statement to which Noticias has had access, the president today also inaugurates the Limpopo Horticultural Processing Centre (CEPHOL) in Xai-Xai City.
The president is accompanied by the ministers of Transport and Communications, Carlos Mesquita; Science, Technology, Higher and Technical Vocational Education, Jorge Nhambiu; Culture and Tourism, Silva Dunduro; Agriculture and Food Security, Higino Marrule; the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Júlio João Pio; and members of the Presidency staff and other state institutions.
