Gaza is a province of Mozambique. It has an area of 75,709 km² and a population of approximately 1.3 million (2002). Xai-Xai is the capital of the province.
Bilene Macia is a small town in Gaza, which caters to the areas of Mazivila, Dzimbeni, Incaia, and Machenganyane. During the Civil War, people around these villages used to live there as it was a little bit safer compared to other villages.

Xai-Xai is located close to the Indian Ocean, on the Limpopo River. It lies on the EN1 road northeast of Maputo and is known for its beach at Praia do Xai-Xai.
