Mozambique in negotiations to sell carbon emission rights

Maputo and Gaza could reach 38 degrees Celsius between today and Wednesday. The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) forecasts that there will be an intense heat wave on the 11th, 12th and 13th of this month in all districts of Maputo province and in the districts of Bilene, Chibuto, Mandlakazi, Chókwé, Guijá, Massingir and Xai-Xai city, in Gaza province.
On these days, warns INAM, temperatures may vary between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius.
However, on the 13th, a sudden change in weather conditions is expected, characterised by gusty winds in te early evening, with a marked drop in temperature, which may vary between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius on the following day, Thursday, September 14.
INAM recommends precautions and safety measures, in view of the risk associated with high temperatures. Therefore, the following measures are advised: non-exposure to the sun, ingestion of many non-alcoholic liquids, rest in fresh places, avoiding physical exercises, especially during peak hours and not using tight clothing that may inhibit breathing.
