Is’thunzi star Thuso Mbedu has bagged her first international award nomination.
The actress has been nominated in the 2017 International Emmy Awards for her role in the Mzansi Magic drama.
Thuso has been nominated in the Best Actress category and will go up against other actress’ from Brazil, Germany and the UK.
She shared the news on Instagram alongside the pictures of her on set she wrote: “So it’s been brought to my attention that I’ve been nominated for the International Emmy Awards which is kind of a big deal for me I have to say my thank you’s. (sic)”
The 45th International Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on 20 November at the Hilton Hotel in New York.
