Cabo Delgado: Drivers do double speed limit on 'corridor of terror' road
A car crash involving a bus of Mozambican carrier Majugar occurred last night in South Africa and reportedly left several dead and injured, though the numbers are still not available, according to Folha de Maputo online.
The accident occurred around 8pm in the Belfast area, when a 4×4 vehicle loaded with mangoes, presumably going from Nelspruit to Johannesburg, went off the track and crashed on the driver’s side of the Majugar bus.
Folha de Maputo reports that information in its possession indicates that many people lost their lives. According to the same source, the bus hostess had to have a leg amputated to be able to leave the vehicle and the bus driver is said to be in a critical condition.
