Soico Group is once again leading the charge in the provision of media services. The leading media company in Mozambique announced the launch of new products in the digital area with the creation of STV Play and the new image of Jornal O País, as part of the 15th anniversary of STV and of 12 years of O País.
The digital transformation will affect all Mozambicans who access Soico Group’s content from devices such as smartphones, tablets or computers. Using the STV Play application, viewers will be able to choose when and where to view their favourite STV programmes, whether live or after broadcast.
This service will also help strengthen the relationship with viewers, since STV Play also allows them to send videos with content they find interesting to the programmes.
The newspaper O País is also to see changes in its layout and is to get a new website. The new design will see O País decked in the colours of the Mozambican flag, with a more modern layout and enhanced digital content.
The new O País website promises to be more innovative, current, informative and adaptable across devices. Readers will enjoy an improved reading experience and will be able to share news on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and LinkedIn.
This digital focus demonstrates the Soico Group’s ambition to lead change in the media and reinforce its mission to inform, educate, entertain and offer all Mozambicans quality service.
