Mozambique intercepts 23 illegal Ethiopian migrants

Maputo Police Chief Bernardino Rafael says the Tiger Center owners should tell the corporation the real reason behind their attempted kidnapping.
In less than a month, two of the Tiger Center owners, a shop selling appliances, have escaped kidnapping attempts in Maputo. One of the family members interviewed by our news team some days ago said that in fact, the family has experienced four kidnapping attempts since 2012.
Asked about the possibility of allocating special security to that family, the commander said that it was not necessary and that the police were protecting people in the usual manner, while at the same time confessing to doubts as to the veracity of the alleged kidnapping of Danish Satar, whereabouts currently unknown.
“We did not find any evidence of Danish Satar’s abduction. We are working with other agencies to establish the truth,” Rafael said.
Danish Satar, nephew of Nini Satar, is accused of being one of the masterminds of the kidnappings.Source: O País
