Nini Satar on his Facebook page says that as soon as his lawyer is notified of the judge’s order revoking his conditional freedom, he will appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Satar says that this revocation does not worry him, and that the Attorney General and the court itself know that any order of the court is open to appeal.
He further alleges that the Attorney General’s Office’s communiqué aims to denigrate his image and a distraction to public opinion.
The Attorney General’s Office yesterday announced that an international arrest warrant had been issued for Momed Assife Abdul Satar (Nini Satar), currently on probation, for allegedly associating with elements of organised crime.
