Mozambique: Victims of the latest floods still living in Maputo accommodation centres

The provincial attorney general in Mozambique’s Zambezia province has arrested three employees and two students from the Pedagogical University of Quelimane, in the centre of the country on suspicion of diverting a million meticals (€14,000), it said on Wednesday.
They have been charged with forgery, embezzlement and corruption the prosecutor Julai Leoncio told the ‘O País’ daily paper.
The students were behind with their payments to the university which were diverted into the bank accounts of the university employees who then tried to cover up the operation with forged bank slips.
