Mozambique: BCI renews support for the Mambas

The Mozambican canoeing team won 5 medals in the African Cup which ended last Friday in Rabat, Morocco. The bag included two gold, two silver and one bronze.
Canoeist Joaquim Lobo was the star of the Mozambican team, collecting four medals: two gold, one silver and one bronze.
Already the best Mozambican athlete in the modality, Lobo confirmed his status as one of the best canoeing talents in Africa.
Lobo’s first gold medal came in the C1-200 metre category. He again stepped up to the top step of the podium in company with Nordino Mussa to accept gold in the C2-200 metre category.
The silver and bronze medals were won in the C1-5000 metre and C2-1000 metre categories, respectively.
The other silver medal was won by Nordino Mussa in the C1-1000 metre category.
