Mozambique: Insurgents make businessman pay to continue his journey - Cabo Delgado Business Council

The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) is holding its Northern Regional Forum this Wednesday take place in the city of Pemba, capital of Cabo Delgado province.
The meeting bring together about 200 participants from the region, including the neighbouring provinces of Niassa and Nampula, and will monitor the progress and challenges of processes to improve the business environment and sustainable business development at provincial and regional level in a systematic and integrated way.
The platform, a CTA communiqué reads, also fosters the identification of the main constraints and their resolution in a proactive and dynamic way, jointly facilitated by the public and private sectors with the involvement of directly interested business people.
The Regional Forum of the Private Sector will be consist of presentation rounds on topics of provincial interest. Speakers will address the goals, progress, and obstacles to solving the problems and priorities identified.
