Mozambique’s national soccer team won beat Rwanda 3-2 in Kigali on Saturday in the Group H fifth round African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The goals were scored by Dominguez in the 10th minute, Sonito (45 min), and Helder Pelembe (82 min).
The Mozambican team, coached by Abel Xavier, was always in the lead. Tuyisenge scored twice for Rwanda in the 37th and 78th minutes.
This is the first Mamba’s group stage victory after three defeats and a draw. The teams remains in last place with four points, with Rwanda second with six.
