EAIF backs US$76 mln Mocuba solar farm: The largest in sub-Saharan Africa outside South Africa

The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, MIREME, Leticia Klemens participates from Sunday to Thursday at the World Petroleum Congress in Turkey.
A statement from MIREME indicates that the meeting will discuss oil industry development policies and strategies, opportunities for cooperation among participating countries, as well as assess the impact of the latest developments and innovations in the oil market.
In Turkey, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy will sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Hydrocarbons and Energy, which is already in the final phase of its negotiation.
The Memorandum aims, inter alia, to identify and develop projects for the storage, transport and distribution of petroleum products, as well as the construction and maintenance of oil and natural gas infrastructures; Construction, management and transmission of electricity.Source: Rádio Moçambique
