Mozambique: Nyusi challenges private sector to continue investing in tourism - AIM
The Ressano Garcia border crossing in Maputo province’s Moamba district has recorded significantly less traffic over Easter than in previous years.
Border authorities report that more than 49,000 people entered the country from 18 to 25 of March, about 13,000 crossing on Thursday and Friday alone.
Last year during the same period, more than 97,000 people entered Mozambique.
The crossing has been open 24 hours a day since March 18, with 10 stations working to expedite traffic.
