The Mozambican Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MITESS) today launches the country’s largest public electronic employment service, aimed at replacing manual procedures.
A MITESS statement says the platform represents an innovative breakthrough in interactions between jobseekers and companies, with huge potential for timely and specific employment reporting.
“The introduction of this services is intended to modernise employment centres so that more citizens can obtain information and register for the labour market at no cost,” the statement reads.
The design and rollout of the platform has been overseen by MITESS as a way of improving the accessibility and quality of services provided to the public in employment centres, it adds.
The launch of the platform will be led by the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Vitória Diogo, accompanied by senior ministry staff and public and private sector representatives.Source: Lusa
