Mozambique: Manhiça Research Centre to test new vaccine against tuberculosis
Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Italian state financial institution, is to grant EUR 95 million in interest-free loans for a drainage project in Maputo city and vocational technical education in the country, the Council of Ministers announced yesterday.
In a press conference at the end of the weekly session, spokesman Armindo Ngunga said that the bank would finance the Maputo city water drainage project in the amount of EUR 60 million, and the reform of technical vocational education with EUR 35 million.
“These amounts are free of interest and valid for a period of 25 years,” said Armindo Ngunga.
The two loans are the result of agreements signed between the Italian financial institution and the Mozambican government on September 7.
